Kimpton Parish Clerk Awarded "Clerk of the Year"!

Carina Helmn, Clerk to Kimpton Parish Council, was presented at the annual conference of the National Association of Local Councils in Scarborough with the award of "Clerk of the Year". Her Parish Council nominated her in recognition of the enthusiasm, energy and commitment, which she has shown in her work as Parish Clerk, well beyond the call of duty.

Carina has formed an excellent working relationship with all members of the community and is the cornerstone of the Parish Council. Her liaison with police, District & County Council, Youth Workers etc has helped the Council solve many of the problems encountered in a rural area. Carina is helping the Parish Council to work towards achieving "Quality Parish" status.
