KIMPTON CHRISTIANS TOGETHER

Perhaps little known about, the various Churches (Anglican, Baptist, Catholic and Methodist)  have been working together for over 25 years in the parish, which of course includes Peters Green. The name, Kimpton Christians Together, sets the emphasis on what we share and aspire to, at the same time being accessible to those Christians who may worship regularly outside the parish or who do not belong to a particular Church.

There are normally three meetings each year (September, January, March/April), in which we share information, plan joint services and initiatives, and generally support each other, non-clergy and clergy. The meetings are open to all Christians who want to take part (tel. 832733 or any of the Churches, for more information).

Our starting-point is the need to keep the Gospel message alive in the parish, along with a sense of the richness of different Church traditions.

Tony Mann, current Chair.
